Challenge card

It's supposed to be spring here, but the weather isn't reflecting that being grey and raining. So I ended up at my desk doing some scrapping today as well. In honor of it being St. Patrick's day yesterday I went with Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blogs challenge to do a card with a "BIT o'GREEN". I combined it with CAS-ual Fridays challenge "It's as easy as 1-2-3".

 

I wanted to try a great technique I saw Kristina Werner doing for a Christmas card. You can check it out here. I used my distress inks (bundled sage, ice spruce, shabby shutters, peeled paint) and I'm really happy with the result. So here is my card for today.
