We got back at a decent hour so I decided to make some cards this evening, I'm on a bit of a roll with the card making at the time. Also I love making Christmas cards! The first is from my Christmas card online class. Jennifer made a super cute card day 1 and I made my "own" version of it.

I used the sediment from my Swedish Christmas stamp set, which says merry Christmas (it's hard to find good Swedish sediment stamp sets and I really like using my native language for these special cards). The red ink is from YouDos Christmas inks. The tree branch and Christmas ornament are from BasicGreys Jovial collection. The bakers twine and cardstock I bought at my local craft store. I added some glossy accent on the ornament to make it a bit more dimensional (I don't think you can see it in the picture).

This card is also from the online class. Kristina made a card for putting letters in, but since we don't do that in Sweden I adapted it to a smaller card. The card stock and felt bird is from my local store, the sediment from Reprint (fröjdefull jul), the green pattern paper is from Imaginisces Polar Expressions series. Since I don't have any embossing folders I clear embossed the background cardstock with Hero Arts stamp Holly Flourish. I really love this background stamp, its so elegant.
The last card is made form a sketch at Clean & Simple Stamping. I always think they have such great sketches. Totally my style! This is sketch FTL165, and its just begging to be a Christmas card :)

This is what I ended up with. I went back and forward a while on the stickers, thinking about changing them for something else but I then I decided just to go with it. I can always make another one from the same sketch..

The pattern paper and stickers are from BasicGreys Jovial collection (from last year). I've decided that Christmas cards can be a bit more glittery (after finding my self keep reaching for it) so I added rhinestones in the center of the snowflakes, and the big snowflake got traced with Diamond Stickles on the touqois parts. The sediment is from my Swedish Christmas stampset from Panduro Hobby. The ink is Distress inks bundled sage (which matched perfect) I just added glossy accent to make it pop a bit more. The ribbon is a new buy that I picked up in Copenhagen because I loved the color and it matched amazingly (i was so happy).
Now I'm off to bed, have a good night!
Love your cards for the class! I love how you made them your own...have a great holiday season.
