a quick christmas card

We are having really bad weather today, a big storm is blowing thru. But today is the 1st of Advent, so we've been putting up the Christmas decorations here at home just enjoying staying indoors.


Today's card is made from the sketch at CPS (number 245)


I saw the sticker with the gifts and knew just what I wanted the card to look like. The gift sticker and the patterned papers is from Basic Greys Jovial collection. I added some Diamonds stickles to the tree to make it less doll (I didn't feel like putting more sparkle on) and some glossy accent to the gifts to make them more dimensional. The sediment is from Hero Arts Holiday Saying (CL 343) and the red and brown cardstock is from my box of scraps :) The paper for the card is from an old collection of stationery.


Happy 1st of Advent. Now I'm gonna enjoy some mulled wine and ginger biscuits.
